FOOD! is a big thing in my family.
I’m fascinated by the science of cooking, but more compelled to the tasting. I really like the idea of living organic too. I’m determined to work on this – eat less meat. More vege. Do my Sun Salutations every morning. Take public transportation. Cycle. Walk.
Music I listen to includes but not limited to: Queen, The Beatles, MIKA, Coldplay, Beyond, Sam Hui, Pete Teo, She & Him, James Morrison, Sinatra, Norah Jones, Chopin, Jo Stafford, Bon Iver, The Morning Benders, Yael Naim, Madeleine Peyroux.
I’m good at……talking. I’ve guest-lectured and spoken at gatherings to advocate on voting rights, ‘the Malaysian thinking’ and also Journalism. I plan to do a lot more talking, still.
(& suddenly, I have so much so say about my “Skills & Interests” yeah, maybe I’m just bragging haha well, it IS supposed to be about ME!)
For Photography, read on ‘Visuals’.
I travel quite a fair bit for my budget, and only made possible by the innate schemer in me. What can I say? I’m a middle class kid who has expensive tastes. So I have to stretch my dollars and sense.
The key is just to plan ahead! I visit mostly Asia Pacific but I’d really love to backpack across South America. And Europe. Hmm.
Some places I visited in photographs:
Pulau Redang (March ’09)
Macao (May ’09)
Hong Kong (June ’09)
Bukit Tinggi (September ’09)
