I’m sooooo in the mood to blog about the remaining of my Pulau Redang trip now because I’m in such a holiday mood! Hahaha. I’ll tell you why – went out with Laurence to SS15 today to do a whole lot of catching up. FYI, I haven’t hung out with him for 1 1/2 years and bumping into each other at basketball court do not count! Lol. So as we played games of pool, of all topics we chose to talk about, we chose… travel. So all I had been thinking about since then till now is holiday, Holiday, HOLIDAY!!!!

Hahahahaha, er, okay. Nevermind. My travel plans will happen. Soon. I’m sure. Hehehe. So yeah. Let me finish up on the travel log of Pulau Redang first. :P

Totally off topic: I won Laurence 3-1 in pool and 3-1 in foos as well! If you know him, you’d know he’s got both skills and luck in pool. Hahaha! This is the sign of him aging already!!!!! And he’s only turning 20 this year, ahem ahem. :P

Day three, tour around. I walked the rocks of the seaside and got into deeper depth of the sea. In fear that bringing my camera might not be safe, I did not. But the views were beautiful. Reminds me of those Baywatch/The Hills episodes. Rest of the day was spent sunbathing and drinking on the beach. Wish things didn’t end so soon. :(

The ferry trip back, the lower deck was full. Watched the seascape and skyline blur into perfection. My hair was blown into some terrible-lefty job. Thankfully we were only half way, so I sat the opposite side of the ferry to ‘balance’ out the blow. HAHA! By the way, I’ve now develop a liking for horizons! They bring instant peace to my mind! ;D

The end of the trip back to KL was just in time for a hustle and bustle countdown for my birthday! It was also one of my best and most memorable McDonald’s trip. C’mon, it was the first hour of my 18th birthday okay! :D :D Hehhh!!! And I was damn hungry! :P

As I upload these photos and recall the trip, I can smell the sea already. I miss being relaxed on the beach a lot! Hope to go for another trip somewhere soon! :D I’m falling in love with travel all over again. :))))) You know, I am seriously considering having a job on a vacation spot or just be on some airlines’ team. Heh!! Let the girl dream okay? :P

Initial plan was to go on the second week of March with a bigger group, but SPM results were given out on the 12th. So yeah. The handful of us put off the trip just because of me till the following week, which was school holidays. Ugh, price hike for everything and anything out of the package paid for earlier.

At Shah Bandar Jetty, we met a German-Chinese family. I immediately turned into a toddler to join the two little ones, Kim-Mei and Alex, play football. Hahaha. I love kids, so don’t blame me. And they were so, so, so cute! Turned out that they were staying at Berjaya Redang Beach Resort too! :D :D

The first evening there was cloudy but the seaside breeze was good too. I think walking along the sea with breeze blowing through your hair is sooo soothing. Almost therapeutic okay. Need that again man. Loved it. Barbecue dinner? Buffet? I liked the Satay from a stall nearby the resort better. Haha! No joke.

The second day was way better. Spent the whole day chilling at the beach. The volleyball area was a little dirty but it was fun. :D Went swimming and got hit by waves after waves. Swallowed gallons of salt water. In the late afternoon, we even saw double rainbows! It was so preeettyyy!!!! :D

Night of the same day, went to the beach after dinner just to listen to the waves. It was beautiful. LOVELOVELOVE THE BEACH! :D After that, we went to play pool near the resort lobby. Learnt some other countries’ table rules. Another round at the seaside to listen to the night breeze and back to our rooms. :)))

It was around this time that night that I walked on the beach and left my footprints everywhere. Sigh! :) Okay, I want to dream about it now. So, to be continued… :)

People Change

March 28, 2009

So it’s not just me. Others, too, have been talking about changes in people lately. Changes in people over time is inevitable, duh! But the ones who manage to stick together and still talk like they used to are one of those great oddities of miracle.

Some friends part ways and never find each other again because “they changed”. What kind of bullshit is that? Of course people change! Habits might differ and most probably preferences too, but as long as the personality that you found a friend in stays – why does other matter? It doesn’t benefit being judgemental anyway.

In reverse motion, You can’t judge anyone for what they’ve done because people change, says Leighton Meester. Heh heh! ;)

A lot of time was spent with Hisham this week because I’m apparently very good influence and that is probably true (haha, self praise!), now that he hasn’t smoked for a week and started reading. HAHAHAHA!!! It’s as bizarre as Paris Hilton going into military okay. :P But I lent him Tuesdays With Morrie. Ahhh, Mitch Albom! :)))

Myself and Mr I-Love-Beer. Lol.

Yet another day spent in the city today. KLCC, to be exact. It’s Yoyo’s farewell, last day in Malaysia. Promised to go to Hong Kong one day to visit her! Travel plansss!!!!! :D :D

By the way, spontaneous Friday night meet up with Joel, Ken Wee and Han Shen for dinner at Yuen Buffet Steamboat! I am so damn stuffed, I tell you. Bloated like a blowfish. :( I need to find ways to start exercising again man. I’m feeling so unfit. I don’t even swing my hula hoop anymooore!!!!! Sigh!

We did catch-ups, laughed at each other and talked about future plans, which sounds pretty far away but is actually so soon. Damn, man. Life’s too short for doubts. ;)

Myself with the rockstars wannabe, ahem.

The real rockstars! :P

Gosh, I still remember when we used to spend so many after schools together in mid 2007. And we had a song, haha! And now we can talk about it so casually. Heh, good times, dude. :))) Only thing now is that I have to make you stop calling me ‘ex-girlf’ everytime we meet. Sounds so weird okay, ex-boyf! Lol.

Self-obsession, HAHAHA!!

If you haven’t read this post, go read it now. Yes, NOW! Hehhh! :P I finally passed Jade the pendrive with all the photos from last Friday because apparently, my sharing folder application on Messenger took an emergency leave. Maybe it resigned. I don’t want to know. -_____- Gah, screw it. Enjoy the photos! :D

So yes, this is a continuation of the other half of the photos from birthday dinner last week. The decent ones at least. Some was really… *beeeep* HAHA! I uploaded a little bit more to Facebook too, but I selected it to be privatized to Friends Only. So yeah. :P

Anyway, it was a great night, really. The crowd, the jokes – DOUBLE THE YAYS! :D As you can see, my friends and I are really a crazy bunch. I think Italiannies was considering to ban us from there already. Hands down natural noisemaker champions. Lol. Excuse us, please and thank youuuuu. :)

People change – For better or worse, we do. Constantly, too. But I hope that we all realise what we change into, if that is what we reeeeeally want. Hah, life man. Life.
